iCHAMPS offers four types of training:


  • Leadership & Promotion Training for law enforcement officers, educators, and social service professionals.
  • Mental Health Training for Youth provides best practices when working with adolescents with mental health conditions in educational and juvenile justice settings.
  • School-Based Law Enforcement Training distinguish roles of law enforcement officers & school administrators when addressing student misconduct. 
  • Community-Oriented, Problem-Solving (COPS) policing & Procedural Justice (PJ) practices improve law enforcement-community relations & increase community prosocial behavior.

  • (OJJDP GRP) Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies (PATHS) has been found to: 
    • Increase social-emotional learning skills (emotional self-regulation, interpersonal skills, & problem-solving)
    • Improve academic achievement (reading, writing & math)
    • Reduce conduct problems & ADHD/depressive symptoms
  • (Pulling Levers) Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies (PATHS) has been found to:
